We have a good selection of horns and skulls harvested from our Dorset Horn and Jacob Sheep over the years. They are a perfect addition to your western, country or rustic decor, or used in crafting and art projects, or for those with an interest in science. The horns and skulls have been cleaned by nature. Then they are submerged in boiling water to kill any critters lurking inside. You may choose to further clean or process your horns or skulls.
To help you gauge sizes, each panel on the green board is 7 1/2 inches wide. The space from each large rounded raised rib to the next rounded raised rib on the barn wall is 12 inches. Some of the skulls include a lower jaw which may retain all or some teeth (not shown). The price includes the jaw if available.
You are welcome to visit the Farm Shop in person to check out the items. If you want more specific measurements or details about a particular set of horns or skull before visiting the farm, send us an email and we will provide you with the requested information and/or photos. Because of the size, fragility and cost of shipping skulls, we recommend completing your purchase at the farm. At our discretion we may ship skulls to buyers located in New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware. In that case the skulls will be shipped via UPS ground in UPS fragile packaging at buyer’s expense and must be shipped and packaged for return using the same at buyer’s expense.
