WOVEN THROWS

Our heirloom-quality woven throws make unique and special gifts at the holidays, for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays – for any time you want to remember someone with a beautiful and warm gift made in the USA from the wool of rare breed sheep born and raised in the USA.

Our warm and durable Shepherd’s Check pattern Jacob woven wool throws are made of natural color wool from our sheep pastured in Woolwich Township, Gloucester County,  New Jersey.  To make these throws, we gathered fleeces sheared from our Jacob sheep in the spring.  Because Jacob sheep are spotted, each sheep produces white and natural color wool (gray or lilac, black, or black-faded-to-chocolate by the sun.)   After shearing, the fleeces were separated by hand into their white and color parts.  The wool was washed and spun into yarn using a green, non-chemical process and then custom woven for us using antique woolen mill technology. The throw is approximately 63” x 43” excluding the hand-tied fringe. Color: chocolate and vanilla………………………………………… $175

Our warm and durable Basket Weave Blocks pattern Dorset Horn woven wool throws are made of natural color wool from our sheep pastured in Woolwich Township, Gloucester County,  New Jersey.  To make these throws, we gathered fleeces sheared from our Dorset Horn sheep in the spring.  After shearing, the wool was washed and spun into yarn, then custom woven for us using antique woolen mill technology.  The throw is approximately 60” x 42” excluding the hand-tied fringe.  Color: cream………………………………………………………………. $150

Caring for Your Woven Wool Throw.  The throws are washable. Cold water wash in a tub or in a washing machine using gentle cycle (hand wash or delicate cycle) and a mild soap designed for wool.  Lay flat to dry.  Avoid extreme agitation, high temperature, and harsh detergent.

Shipping (includes insurance and tracking) and applicable tax will be added to all throw purchases.  We will calculate them for you when you place your order and we will email an invoice to you. Payment can be made via PayPal, check or money order. See our Returns and Exchanges, Payment and Shipping Policy on the Farm Products for Sale page.
