Sheepskins

Treat a special someone – or yourself! – to one of our beautiful sheepskins. Each sheepskin is unique in color, texture, fleece length, and shape, truly one of a kind, and 100% American (from our free-range, heritage-breed sheep raised in Woolwich Township, New Jersey to be exact!)

A warm, soft sheepskin is perfect underfoot – try placing one on the floor next to your bed.  Or hang one on the wall and it becomes a work of art!  Cuddle into one on your couch. Put one on your piano bench.    You’ll appreciate one on your car seat – cooling in summer, welcome warmth in winter, and always comfortable!  Or create your own sheepskin collar, cape, or shawl to wear at a historic reenactment or fantasy event.

After our sheepskins are harvested, we salt them by hand.  When dry, we ship them out to be tanned.  Our sheepskins are professionally tanned and processed to be washable.  They may be machine or hand washed in cold or warm water  (water not to exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit.)  Hand washing is the preferred method as it is easier on both your washer and the sheepskin.   We recommend using Kookaburra or Eucalan Wool Wash.  Do not use laundry detergents, including Woolite, or fabric softeners.  Complete machine and hand washing instructions are included with your purchase.

To estimate the size of a sheepskin, use the sticks at the top and along the side of each photo. They are marked every foot.   Each sheepskin has a minimum of three views – fleece side, closeup of the fleece side, and tanned side.  If a sheepskin has a hole or tear on the tanned side, a closeup is provided with a ruler so you can gauge its size.

The posted price is for the sheepskin only.
